Situated in the South West of England http://www.cheapbelgiumsoccerjerseys.com/christian-benteke-jersey/ , Devon has an array of beautiful areas waiting to be explored. From coast to the country this county offers a diverse and scenic landscape which is perfect for walking. Devon also presents some fabulous beaches, picturesque coastal towns and great attractions including family adventure parks, historical sites and National Trust gardens.

Other than currently being a popular holiday destination for families, Devon is also a great place to take your dog. In recent years, dog friendly holidays have become more and more popular, especially since there has been a growth in dog friendly accommodation from coastal self-catering cottages to dog friendly hotels in Devon.

Dog Friendly Beaches
There are a variety of fantastic beaches in Devon that are dog friendly all year round or at certain times of the year. Beaches which allow dogs all year round include East Portlemouth, Mill Bay, Salcombe Sands and Thurlestone which are all located in South Devon. The majority of other beaches allow dogs out of season, so between September and May.

Recommended Walking Trails

Two Moors Way:
The rugged, windswept tors of Dartmoor National Park is a great place to explore with the dog. This extensive moorland is dotted with stone circles, cairns and stone rows which all date back from the Bronze Age.

If you are feeling brave and more importantly, fit you can try attempting the Two Moors Way which covers 103 miles. Starting at Ivybridge http://www.cheapbelgiumsoccerjerseys.com/axel-witsel-jersey/ , this long trail takes you across Dartmoor and mid Devon crossing some of the wildest parts of Exmoor and finishing at Lynmouth. It can be walked in a week or over a series of a few days.

The Jurassic Coast:
The Jurassic coast covers 95 miles of truly stunning coastline from East Devon to Dorset. This extensive coastline has fossil-rich rocks which are thought to be 185 million years old, and it is from these countless fossil findings that the area was awarded World Heritage Site Status. The Jurassic Coasts runs from Exmouth all the way Studland, passing coastal towns such as Sidmouth and Seaton. It provides the perfect place for walking with its panoramic views across the Devon coast. Guided fossil tours are also available.
